Louis Riel captured the Senior Boys race at the Pirates Invitational, hosted by Thousand Islands Secondary in Brockville on Friday. The Rebelles had all 4 scorers in the top 14 lead by Junior Jonathan Rioux in 4th place followed closely by Felix Robillard in 6th. Moricz (12th) and Adeya (14th) rounded out the scoring for the Rebelles (36 points) who almost doubled up on runner-up host Thousand Islands (67). The Rebelles will now get prepared to host the NC on their home course at the Hornet's Nest this coming Thursday, Oct 8th - the final meet prior to Conference week and the first chance for athletes to test themselves on this year's NC Championship course.
