Glebe Collegiate had a strong showing at their home meet, winning the Overall and Girls' Aggregates, while sharing the Boys' Aggregate with Renfrew Collegiate.
Glebe won the Midget Girls with a solid score of 18, placing 3 runners in the top 4 (Livingstone 2nd, Smith, 3rd, and Robinson 4th), the Senior Girls and placing second in the Junior Girls category.
On the Boys side, Glebe won the Senior Boys race, behind Sikubwabo and Marshall who placed 1st and 3rd respectively, the Junior Boys and placed third in the Midget Boys race, while Renfrew won the Midget Boys title and was runner up to Glebe in the Junior and Senior races.
In the elementary races, Franco Cite, paced by individual champion Marshall, won the Girls race while Rideau Valley won the boys.

NC Harriers Open Season
Glebe CI was the first NC school to see action in the 2011 XC season at the Trinity Invitational, on a sunny, warm, Sept. 21st.
Three athletes made the trip to Port Hope with Alexa Livingstone placing 7th in the Midget Girls race, Charlene Rhead 6th in the Senior Girls and defending OFSAA Champion Yves Sikubwabo winning the Senior Boys race.
Sikubwabo became the first athlete to break 20 minutes on the 6.8K course, running 19:57 to slice almost a full minute off Matt Hughes' (20:56, 2007) previous record. Jeremie Bourget (Theriault - Timmins, 20:24) and Ben Flanagan (St. Mary's - Kitchener, 20:33) who ran together with Sikubwabo for the first 4 kilometers also broke the previous record.
Other NC schools will open their seasons tomorrow at the Louis Riel Cookie Run.
